ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) — A man allegedly pulled a gun on Katt Williams after the comedian got into a verbal altercation with the man’s wife, an Atlanta radio host.
According to a report by the Gwinnett Police Department, Smith and Williams began arguing outside of the Atlanta Comedy Theater in Norcross on Saturday Night when witnesses allege Smith’s husband, Lamorris Sellers, pulled a gun on him and pointed it in his face.
According to the police report, Williams and his security guard were chased into a nearby supermarket.
Sellers told police that he pulled the gun on Williams after the comedian indicated he wanted to fight and chased him into the supermarket. However, Sellers denied pointing the gun at anyone.
Williams, the host of Atlanta radio station V103’s “Frank and Wanda in the Morning” show, declined to comment to local press about the incident.
Video footage from surveillance cameras showed the alleged dispute but did not show Lamorris with a gun in his hand, the Gwinnett police report said.
At present, no criminal charges have been filed over the incident.
Williams appeared on the “Frank and Wanda in the Morning” show on Friday for an oddly confrontational interview.
