HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (CelebrityAccess) The Canadian Folk Music Awards have announced the nominees for their 14th anniversary
There are 96 nominees, with The LYNNeS and Buffy Sainte-Marie leading with five. Pharis & Jason Romero, Jean-Francois Belanger and The Fretless have three each.
The awards show is expected to take place Nov. 30 to Dec. 1 in Calgary, Alberta at The Gateway and will include two hosted Awards Weekend Concerts open to the public.
Tickets and wristbands go on sale Oct. 1 on the CFMA website: folkawards.ca. Tickets are $35 for each night. A wristband will include all workshops as well as both nights and is $60. More information about the gala performance and the line-up will be announced shortly, according to a press release.
