LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) Puddles Pity Party, America’s favorite sad, 7-foot singing clown, is going to stop traveling the world for a bit and settle down in Las Vegas for a while.

Puddles is expected to headline Cleopatra’s Barge inside Caesars Palace starting Jan. 17 and extending through Feb. 9, as first reported by Variety.

“I’m honored that Caesars asked me to perform such an iconic room,” Puddles Pity Party tells Variety. “The cozy cabaret setting means I’ll be getting up close and personal with P3ers from all over the world!”

Puddles’ set – a quirky mix of vaudeville and knockout singing – will be reportedly custom designed for the “intimate layout and unique decor” of the room which has been dubbed the last of the old Las Vegas showrooms, according to a statement.

Puddles first rose to prominence as a guest performer for (then) YouTube phenomenon Postmodern Jukebox with a rendition of Lorde’s “Royals” that is about to have 25 million views and eventually caught mainstream attention with his appearances on the 12th season of “America’s Got Talent.”

Full disclosure: this reporter’s relationship with the artist goes back a long ways – maybe too long.
