BILOXI, Ms. (CelebrityAccess) — Paula Abdul took what looked like a nasty tumble from stage during a performance at the Hard Rock Live in Biloxi, Mississippi.
A fan recorded video capturing the moment shows Abdul performing her 1991 hit “The Promise of a New Day” and clapping to encourage the audience when she toppled headfirst into the audience.
The fan who recorded the video told People Magazine that Abdul handled the spill like a trooper and continued the show.
“She did not seem hurt at the time of the fall and still finished like a champ,” the fan told People. “She stated she was a dancer, and falls and drops she has gotten used to over the years.”
Abdul has been on the road with her “Straight Up Paula!” tour, which kicked off in Tulsa on Oct 18th and thus far, seems to be off to a rocky start.
On Oct. 19th, she canceled a show at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles, citing production issues. While the tour didn’t offer specifics about the cancelled date, Abdul discussed the situation in a post to her social media.

@mandyherbert82 BINGO!!! Couldn’t have said it better myself. My team and I drove all night to see you all and were extremely disappointed to find out that the venue was unable to to accommodate our stage and show. We so appreciate your continued love and support and we will see you again soon.
