LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Columbia Records announced this week that it has promoted Erika Alfredson to Senior Vice President of Marketing.
Alfredson, who was most recently Vice President of Marketing for the label, began her career with Sony Label Group in 2005. Since then, she has spearheaded successful campaigns for the likes of Adele, Beyoncé, Diplo, Jack White, Arcade Fire, Depeche Mode, and others.
Commenting on the appointment, Jenifer Mallory, General Manager for Columbia Records, said: “Erika has served as a key architect for many of Columbia’s marquee artist campaigns over the years that have yielded tremendous results.
“Her competitive spirit, dedication, and drive will continue to be an asset for the entire label as she takes on a larger role advancing strategy with the wider team.
“All of Columbia joins me in congratulating Erika on this well-deserved promotion.”
Alfredson added: “I am grateful to Jenifer Mallory and Ron Perry for their continuing support and leadership.
“We have a great team here at Columbia and I look forward to working together to achieve exciting new benchmarks for our great roster of artists.”
Alfredson is based in Columbia’s Los Angeles office and will be tasked with heading up the label’s West Coast Marketing team.
