Marianas Trench Plotting A Canadian Tour

TORONTO, ON (CelebrityAccess) – Canadian progressive pop rockers Marianas Trench announced plans for a tour of their native land in early 2019.

The 15-date tour will hit the road on March 6th with a show at Caesars Windsor Hotel & Casino in Windsor, and will focus on venues will allow the band to offer what they describe as ” an up-close-and-personal live experience.”

The trek includes shows in Toronto, Regina, Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Calgary before the wrap the run up with a final performance at the Orpheum in their hometown of Vancouver on March 29th.

“After months of hibernating in the studio, it’s time to get back on stage in front of our fans and share some new music with the world. We couldn’t be more excited. Time to dust off the shiny pants and stretch out the glutes, the Trench is back,” said lead guitarist Matt Webb.

For the tour, Marianas Trench is partnering with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Service, with registration to purchase tickets open now.

Marianas Trench just teased their forthcoming fifth studio album with the debut of a new single “I Knew You When,” earlier this month.

Since their 2006 debut, Fix Me, Marianas Trench has scored two certified double platinum albums with Masterpiece Theatre, Ever After, and charting hits such as ‘Rhythm Of Your Heart,’ ‘Haven’t Had Enough,’ and ‘Who Do You Love.’

The group has also landed multiple SOCAN and MMVA Awards, Juno Award nominations and a Juno win for group of the year in 2013. Frontman Josh Ramsay also received a Grammy nomination in 2013 for co-writing and producing Carly Rae Jepsen’s international breakthrough smash and certified US diamond selling single “Call Me Maybe.”
