RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa has named safety industry veteran David Heath to the post of Director of Security.
In his new role, Heath will oversee the security of the casino and hotel, including safety and risk management, reporting to the property’s Assistant General Manager Robert Maloney.
Heath brings more than 2 decades of experience in casino and hotel security to his new role. A graduate of North Carolina Central University, he began his career in 1999 as a Security Officer at MGM Grand Detroit before being promoted to Security Manager.
During his tenure at MGM Grand Detroit, he assisted with the development of customer service standards for the security department, and ultimately served as Director of Security for MGM Grand Las Vegas.
Most recently, he served as Director of Safety and Security for the former Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, where he had been since 2012.
