JoJo Siwa’s ‘DREAM’ Tour Expands To 53 Cities

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Kid hero JoJo Siwa, along with her dancing, singing and signature bows, have sold out 24 shows and another 28 have been added to her North American tour.

The new shows kick off July 10 at Amway Center in Orlando, Fla., with the final performance to take place at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. Additional stops include Las Vegas, Boston, Omaha, Philadelphia, Anaheim and Toronto.

JoJo’s fame was bourne out of the Lifetime reality TV show “Dance Moms” and she has graduated to being a YouTube star of epic proportions with 8 million subscribers.

The tour starts at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix May 17. The EP has four songs on it but Jojo has been releasing popular songs and their corresponding YouTube videos for years.

Her signature Jojo Bows became such a fashion statement for girls that they made news in the UK last year when they were banned from schools, angering parents. The bows, apparently, were a source of bullying when their authenticity was questioned by schoolmates, with one mum commenting that they were banned at her daughter’s school “because of the ‘that’s not a real jojo bow’ and the competitiveness of them. E.g. How many and which colours and do you have the limited edition ones!”

The irony of the controversy was not lost on fans considering Jojo’s positive, ridiculously high-energy personality and her music, accented by her anti-bullying anthem “Boomerang.”

Nickelodeon’s JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M. The Tour. Presented by Party City, the 53-city tour is produced by Nickelodeon and AEG Presents.
