WEST VIRGINIA (CelebrityAccess) – DMX will is today (Jan. 25) be a free man, according to Vulture.
The 48-year-old rapper (born Earl Simmons) who was serving a one-year sentence at Gilmer Federal Correctional Institution for federal tax evasion, is reportedly due to be released at 9 a.m. this morning.
Once he’s been officially processed, DMX will reportedly remain under supervised release for three years. Additionally, the rapper was ordered to repay a restitution bill of $2.3 million last April.
TMZ reported last month that DMX had received numerous offers for a biopic and is planning to release a new album once he’s released.
