(CelebrityAccess) — Australian electro-rock duo Empire Of The Sun announced they are (belatedly) marking the 10th anniversary of the release of their 2008 debut album Walking on a Dream with a tour.
The 16-date run kicks off at the M3F Music Festival in Phoenix, AZ on March 2nd with shows planned across North America through early June.
EOTS also has a pair of shows scheduled on the other side of the Atlantic, with a July 9th performance at the O2 Academy Brixton and Casino de Paris on July 10th.
Along with the tour announcement, the band has issued a special vinyl reissue of Walking On A Dream, which includes a previously-unreleased track, “Chrysalis.”
Empire of the Sun, comprised by Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore, has won a number of Australian music awards, with Walking on a Dream earning 11 nominations at the ARIA Music Awards of 2009, winning seven, including Album of the Year.
