LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Despite Live Nations Productions chief Heather Parry leaving the company, it’s business as usual with all projects moving forward, sources told Variety.
Projects include a David Bowie IMAX experience and a TV series, with executive producer Dave Grohl, about moms who raised rock stars. The company’s content slate will continue under execs Ryan Kroft, Matt Stein and Chad Wasser. Perry was terminated on Thursday following an investigation into workplace bullying, according to Variety (previous reports simply said the exec and the company parted ways).
Grohl’s project is based on his mother Virginia, who wrote a book of interviews titled “From Cradle To Stage: Stories from the Mothers Who Rocked and Raised Rock Stars,” featuring the moms of Pharrell, Dr. Dre, May Winehouse and others. That project is still left on the table, and a rep for Grohl had no comment to Variety at press time.
