STOCKHOLM (CelebrityAccess) — A Swedish court ruled that rapper A$AP Rocky will be held at a Stockholm detention center for two weeks while police investigate an alleged street assault that took place on Stockholm last week.

According to CBS News, Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was deemed a flight risk and ordered to be held pending the investigation. His attorney, Henrik Olsson Lilja, said he plans to appeal the detention ruling and noted that Rocky is willing to return for any trial as necessary. If convicted in the incident, Rocky faces as much as six years in prison.

The detention order played havoc with A$AP Rocky’s tour schedule. He is booked to perform at numerous shows in Europe, including the Melt, Sonar, Dour, Atlas Weekend, Tomorrowland Weekend One, and Splash! Festivals, as well as club dates in Italy, and Russia

The alleged assault, which was purportedly captured on video later published by TMZ and Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, appears to show Rocky and several members of his entourage fighting with a man outside of a restaurant in Stockholm.

Rocky posted his own video of the incident, captioning the clip “So a few drug addicts are not my fans, We don’t know these guys and we didn’t want trouble. They followed us for 4 blocks, and they were slapping girls butts who passed.”
