MONTREAL (CelebrityAccess) — Québécois author, composer, singer, and actress Ginette Reno won the award for best selling album of the year for her 2019 hit ‘Forever’ at the 2019 Félix Awards.
Eric Lapointe’s Deliverance took top honors for rock album of the year, while Paul Daraîche took home the award for best Country album for 2019’s “My Favorite House.”
On the industry side, Concertium won best concert agency while The Tribe was named best management company of the year.
The industry-centric part of the awards took place at Club Soda in Montreal, followed by the ADISQ Premier Gala, hosted by Pierre Lapointe, which took place at the MTELUS performing arts center.
The Felix Awards, which honor the French Canadian recording industry, were named for Quebec songwriter Félix Leclerc and are presented annually by ADISQ, the Association du disque, de l’industrie du spectacle québécois.
