TUSCALOOSA (CelebrityAccess) — Alabama-based concert promoter and entertainment company Big Spring Entertainment announced it has acquired the Druid City Music Hall in Tuscaloosa.

Since it opened in 2015, the 800-capacity Druid City Music Hall has become one of Tuscaloosa’s most popular concert destinations of its size and is located adjacent to the University of Alabama.

“We are extremely excited to announce the addition of this venue to the Big Spring family,” said BSE Founder Bill Propst.

“Tuscaloosa is a vibrant community and our aim is to create life-long memories for music fans, and a premier experience for the artists,” Propst added.

Upcoming shows at Druid City include Big Wild on Oct 30th and Frank Foster on Nov. 8th.

In addition to the Druid City Music Hall acquisition, Big Spring Entertainment announced they have expanded their team with the addition of industry veterans Brian Beckerman and Cameron Moss.

Beckerman will oversee Big Spring Entertainment’s Venue Management department and will lead the integration of Druid City Music Hall, and other venues into the BSE family.

Before joining BSE, Beckerman served as a tour manager for more than a decade.

“Brian brings a wealth of touring and artist management experience to the team. He will make a great addition to the team with his ‘artist-first’ perspective,” said Propst.

Cameron Moss joins Big Spring as a talent buyer and will focus on clubs, special events and festivals. Priot to joining BSE, he served as Director of Event Marketing at Feld Entertainment and ran Colonel Consulting. He also served as a co-producer of the inaugural Druid City Music Festival.

“We are thrilled to bring Cameron’s 15 years of experience in ticketing, marketing shows, and producing festivals to the team,” said Jason Oschwald, Co-Owner of Big Spring Entertainment.
