(CelebrityAccess) — English singer-songwriter FKA Twigs showed off her impressive vocal range on Wednesday night with a performance of her UK indie hit “Cellophane” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The spare, but affecting performance featured FKA Twigs performing the spare, but evocative piece while accompanied by piano and cello. The song was a standout, as was her dress, which we suspect may, or may not have been borrowed from Bjork.
“Cellophane” is the lead single from FKA Twigs sophomore studio album Magdalene which is slated for release via Young Turks early next month. It is her first new material since her 2015 EP M3LL155X and her first full-length studio album since 2012’s LP1.
She’s gearing up for a tour to support Magdalene, with a North American segment that kicks off on Nov. 2nd at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver and followed up by a European leg that starts on Nov 25th at the O2 Academy Brixton in London.
