(CelebrityAccess) — While Goldenvoice has yet to announce the headliners for the 2020 edition of Coachella, we now know at least one of the bands scheduled for the festival next year: Rage Against The Machine.
On Friday, RATM’s official Twitter account posted an image that included a series of tourdates, suggesting the group was getting back together with plans to headline both weekends of Coachella on April 10 and April 17.
RATM hasn’t played together since 2011 when the band performed at the L.A. Rising music festival at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Since then, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk have been performing as part of the supergroup Profits of Rage with Public Enemy’s Chuck D, and B-Real from Cyprus Hill.
Frontman Zack de la Rocha has been pursuing a solo career and has been collaborating with hip-hop groups such as Deltron 3030 and Run The Jewels.
