LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Susan Rosenbluth, the noted concert promoter and Senior Vice President of the AEG subsidiary Goldenvoice, announced plans to retire after a career that spans six decades.
“My work life has been filled with so many meaningful experiences, due to the Goldenvoice concert promotion team, artists and their crews who come together to present these events,” said Rosenbluth. “I am grateful to the people of the concert community.”
“Susan is a legend…that goes without saying. But she also charted a new course for Goldenvoice musically and made us better for it. We wish her only the best in this next chapter of her life. She will be missed by all of us,” added Paul Tollett, President of Goldenvoice.
Rosenbluth began her music career at L.A.’s Greek Theatre in 1978, where, just four years later, she was named general manager of the iconic Southern California venue. Over the next decade, she overaw concerts at The Greek as well as the Pantages Theatre, the Pacific Amphitheatre and the Honda Center for the Nederlander Organization.
In 2003, she made the jump to Goldenvoice when she was named Senior Vice President and GM, tasked with buying talent at venues across the region, including the Staples Center, Dignity Health Sports Park, and, starting in 2006, the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live.
She also launched Goldenvoice/AEG Presents Latin concert division in 2005 and helped to build the K-pop market in North American with bookings such as C.S. Hah, BLACKPINK, BTS and Monsta X.
Along with her role at Goldenvoice, Rosenbluth serves as co-chair of the Women’s Leadership Council at AEG.
