LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Tyler Bacon, President and CEO of Position Music, has announced that Tane Runo has signed a worldwide publishing deal with the company as part of a joint venture with Not Fit For Society. The rising producer and artist contributed to the track “dodger blue (feat. wallie the sensei, Siete7x, roddy ricch)” from Kendrick Lamar’s latest album GNX, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200. The song peaked at #7 on the Top 50 USA Spotify chart and is racking in over three million streams per day.
Runo is an Ohio-born, Atlanta-raised producer behind platinum-certified tracks like Nicki Minaj’s “Yikes,” JID’s “Kody Blu 31,” and Kacey Musgraves’ “Lonely Millionaire.” His work has landed on Billboard-topping albums and shaped the sound of stars like Ne-Yo, Usher, and Travis Scott, with “Grey” from Scott’s album DAYS BEFORE RODEO peaking at #1 on the Billboard Top Albums chart. Runo is the executive producer of CyHi’s forthcoming album EGOT. His songs include features from Kanye West, Pusha T, and Lizzo.
