LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Goldenvoice, the AEG-affiliated concert promoter behind events such as Coachella, announced the promotion of several talent buyers within the company.
The promotions include Becky Rosen-Checa, talent buyer for the historic Roxy Theatre and El Rey Theatre, who shift focus to overseeing bookings for the Fox Theater Pomona, along with one-off events in the Los Angeles area. She will also take a in bringing concerts to Los Angeles State Historic Park and Brookside at the Rose Bowl, as well as festival properties Palm Springs Surf Club and Desert Air.
“After two very fulfilling years at the Roxy and El Rey, I’m excited to transition into my new role booking the Fox Theater in Pomona, festivals such as Desert Air & GV Surf Club, and other fun stuff around LA,” said Rosen-Checa, “Having started out at this company as the receptionist, I am grateful to those at Goldenvoice who believed in me and helped me get where I am today. I look forward to booking many cool shows and festivals for many years to come!”
Henry Huerta, Rosen-Checa’s current booking partner, will continue to oversee programming at the Roxy and El Rey, working with newly-promoted talent buyer Montreh Nariman-Hassanabadi. Nariman-Hassanbadi was most recently a Talent Buyer Assistant at Goldenvoice.

I aim to break barriers in live music by amplifying the voices of international acts, particularly Middle Eastern artists,” commented Nariman-Hassanabadi, “Together, Henry and I will continue to create a vibrant cultural experience that resonates with all.”
Chavanté Flakes has been named as the new talent buyer at The Novo, the downtown famed Los Angeles hip-hop club where she will work alongside h the club’s current talent buyer, Gaston Leone.
“I’m thrilled to step into this new role at The Novo and team up with Gaston to bring a fresh, vibrant energy to this incredible venue,” said Flakes, “Being a Talent Buyer at Goldenvoice allows me to continue my passion for live entertainment—booking shows, supporting artists in their career journeys, and fostering continued collaboration with a diverse range of talent.”
Goldenvoice also announced the hire of Candace Mandracia, who will focus on assisting with the booking of shows in the San Diego market. Mandracia most recently worked in AEG Presents Las Vegas office and Live Nation San Diego. Her booking duties at Goldenvoice now include Rady Shell, Humphreys, and the venues at Pechanga Casino and she joins the existing booking team of John Wojas, Lea Swanson and Jenn Liebelt.
