RHODE ISLAND (CelebrityAccess) – Live audio service TuneIn has announced plans to host official streaming stations for the 2019 editions of Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island and Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas.
TuneIn’s DJ-hosted stations are launched in the months leading up to each festival to build buzz around the event. They feature music from artists who have performed in previous years, as well as artists on the current lineup, in addition to on-the-ground reporting and analysis during the festival itself.
For Newport Folk, which is scheduled to take place July 26-28, TuneIn will also broadcast sets by Jeff Tweedy, Portugal. The Man, Dawes, Phosphorescent, Jade Bird, Lake Street Dive, Rayland Baxter, Lukas Nelson and more.
The TuneIn app has more than 75 million monthly users and has collaborated with festivals including Shaky Knees, Stagecoach, Firefly, Hangout, Outside Lands, Bumbershoot, The Meadows and Lovebox UK.
