SEATTLE, WA (CelebrityAccess) — AEG Live has struck a new partnership with One Reel, and the City of Seattle that will see them produce Seattle-based music and arts festival Bumbershoot, which is now heading into its 45th year.
“The Bumbershoot festival is one of the premiere music and arts events in the entire country, and AEG is beyond excited to be a part of it,” said Chuck Morris, President-CEO of AEG Live Rocky Mountains. "For a company that is involved in Coachella, Stagecoach, and New Orleans Jazz Fest to name a few, to have the opportunity to be involved in another legendary festival, one that has been a jewel for the Pacific Northwest for more than four decades, is a privilege.”
Booking for Bumbershoot 2015 will begin immediately and will be overseen by Rob Thomas, the newly-installed Regional Vice President of AEG Live Pacific Northwest. Prior to assuming his new post, Thomas was with Live Rocky Mountain office and previously served General Manager of Fillmore Auditorium Denver.
Assisting Thomas will be Chad Queirolo, Vice President of Talent, AEG Live Pacific Northwest, a native of the region. Previously, ran Blackbooking, doing national tours for many bands on labels such as Subpop, Kill Rock Stars, and K Records, booked The Breakroom, Graceland, I-Spy, and has booked The Showbox since 2000. – Staff Writers
