RICHMOND, VA (CelebrityAccess) — AEG Live announced they have secured an exclusive booking agreement for the The Classic Amphitheater, a venue located at the Richmond Raceway Complex.
The covered amphitheater has seating for up to 6,000 guests and featuers six permanent private dressing rooms, as well as two loading docks. Past touring artists to perform at the venue include Aerosmith, Dave Matthews Band, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams Jr. and James Taylor, as well as the annual Stone Soul Music & Food Festival produced by Radio One.
“Our partnership with AEG Live will continue to build the history of The Classic Amphitheater to new generations of fans,” RIR President Dennis Bickmeier said in a statement. “With the 25th anniversary of The Classic Amphitheater, we will celebrate the past, present and the future of one of the best concert experiences in the region.”
