(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Arts Management Associates (AMA), a Philadelphia-based artist management/booking agency, has announced the appointment of John W. Talbott as Vice-President for the organization.
Mr. Talbott comes to AMA with a wealth of experience in the performing arts business. Mr. Talbott is departing Southern Arts Federation, where he has served as Executive Director since 2000.

Talbott has forty years of not-for-profit organizational management and fund raising experience which includes over fifteen years in the performing arts. Prior to joining the Southern Arts Federation, John was the Director of the Ferst Center for the Performing Arts at Georgia Tech, Atlanta; Executive Director at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, FL.; and Vice President of Development at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa, FL.
During his tenure, Talbott created the Performing Arts Exchange – the eastern United States regional performing arts booking conference and also established the National Arts Leadership Institute, which provides professional development courses, retreats, workshops, etc. for artists, managers, and presenters. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
