(CelebrityAccess News Service) – Memphis-based Archangel Entertainment, formed 15 months ago by former Mid-South Concerts associates Suzanne Hamm and Susan Green, has closed. Archangel produced the Shelby Farms Music Series this year that included Lyle Lovett, Heart, Lucinda Williams and Steely Dan, who performed the day after a severe windstorm that left many residents without power for a week or longer.
In an email to the Commercial Appeal, Memphis’ local paper, Hamm said, "We suffered heavy losses as a result of this summer's storm and we have been unable to secure additional funding to move forward in a manner we think is appropriate." — Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
