AUSTIN, TEXAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Glenn at The Backyard is Austin’s Newest Live Music venue. The Glenn is an outdoor amphitheatre nestled in the hill country immediately behind The Backyard Amphitheatre. The Glenn has been developed with the vision of presenting touring acts, acoustic shows, film series and private parties amid the serene backdrop of the Austin hill country.
The venue’s unique design allows for flexibility in all areas of event production, accommodating from one-thousand to several thousand patrons.
Rodney Crowell and Lee Roy Parnell will perform at The Glenn on Sunday, September 11.
To create this outdoor oasis, DE along with a local landscaping company designed The Glenn to include: Bermuda grass hills accentuated with outcroppings of blue limestone ledges and stairways, a natural water feature and elevated decks to provide additional seating. An assortment of trees including Arroyo Sweet Woods, Burr Oak, Palo Verde Desert Museum, Cypress and Bamboo will dot the property.
Direct Events is the sole talent buyer for The Glenn. The venue’s amenities include a full service bar for beverages and local concessionaires for food service. Two box offices will be located at the main entrance of the venue. The venue’s main entrance is immediately behind the Backyard. In the future, this entrance will also serve as the main gate to The Backyard.
