Bulgarian Rapper Venko 1 Released

SOFIA, Bulgaria (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Venko 1, AKA Ivan Glavchev has been released from prison where he has been tucked for his part in the operation of an international prostitution network, the Sofia News Agency.

Bulgarian lawmakers surprised the public by "inadvertently" approved changes to the legal code that lessened the sentencing provisions for crimes prostitution involving minors, committed by organized criminal groups and involving three or more women.

After the changes, Glavchev successfully appealed his sentence and had it reduced. He was already on short time after voluntarily turning himself, prompting some observers to suspect that he had brokered some sort of agreement with authorities. The changes to the law were repealed shortly after the rapper's appeal was successfully concluded.

Upon his release, he joked with reporters, stating that he was looking forward to some home cooked meals. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
