(CelebrityAccess) — Pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen has cancelled a planned concert in Romania on Thursday in light of the tragic nightclub fire that left 32 dead and more than 130 people hospitalized.
"Out of respect to everyone affected by the tragic fire, my concert in Bucharest won't be taking place today," Jepsen wrote on her Twitter account on Thursday. "Sending so much love to Romania".
The country has been torn by mass protests against perceived government corruption since the fire and the country's prime minister has resigned from office in the face of public outrage.
