Chase & Status Announce UK Arena Tour

LONDON (AP) — Chase and Status have announced the details of their first ever UK arena tour.

The dance duo will play 11 dates, starting on 31 October at Nottingham's Capital FM Arena.

The Blind Faith producers' last date will be a gig at the 20,000 capacity London O2 Arena on 16 November.

The Chase and Status tour will follow the release of their third studio album, Brand New Machine, which is set for release on 7 October.

Brand New Machine is the follow-up to 2011's No More Idols. Their debut More Than Alot was released in 2008.

Chase and Status recently announced the first single from the album, Count On Me featuring Moko, would be released on 29 September.

Guitarist Nile Rodgers recently revealed that he has collaborated with the duo, whose real names are Saul Milton and Will Kennard.

The guitarist announced on Twitter that he had been in the studio with the drum and bass producers working on a new track and posted an image of them in the studio together.

Chase and Status are set to perform on the main stage at Reading and Leeds Festivals on 24 and 25 August.

They played a headline set on Glastonbury Festival's other stage earlier this summer. –According to BBC
