Eric Clapton performed before 206,000 fans at seven venues in five Latin American countries Oct 4-19 for Corporacion Interamericana de Entretenimiento S.A. de C.V. (CIE), the leading live entertainment company serving the Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets in Latin America, the United States and Spain. The box office gross for the seven CIE-promoted concerts totaled US $5,915,322 with 206,757 tickets sold.
The tour stops included: Oct 4 Estadio Nacional – Santiago, Chile; Oct 6 River Plate Stadium – Buenos Aires, Argentina; Oct 8 El Cilindro – Montevideo, Uruguay; Oct 10 Beira Rio Porto Alegre, Brazil; Oct 11 Pacaembu – Sao Paulo, Brazil; Oct 13 Praca de Apoteose – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Oct 19 Foro Sol – Mexico City, Mexico.
