(CelebrityAccess) — Ad hoc rock band December People will be spending the holidays touring in support of a host of charities that focus on issues ranging from homelessness to hunger.
The group put together by founder Robert Berry, who is the lead singer and bassist and has performed and recorded with Keith Emerson & Carl Palmer, Ambrosia and Greg Kihn include Gary Pihl, the superb guitarist for Boston, David Victor who recorded and toured with Boston, the drummer from Sammy Hagar’s band David Lauser, keyboardist David Medd of The Tubes and jazz band guitar soloist Jack Foster.
As well, some shows on the tour will include elements such as choruses, drum lines and other local talent to create a family-friendly atmosphere.
Charities benefited by the tour include Monterey County Food Bank, Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter, Contra Costa County Food Bank, Butte Food Bank, Downtown Streets Team and the United Way of Topeka.
