(CelebrityAccess News Service) – The fourth annual DIY Convention: Do It Yourself in Film, Music & Books will be held February 5-7 at Hollywood’s Barnsdall Art Park and the Derby nightclub.
The three-day event, which includes the finals of the DIY Film Festival and DIY Music Festival, teaches musicians, authors, filmmakers and entrepreneurs how to create, promote, protect and distribute independent film, music and books.
Early-bird registration for a full pass to all DIY Convention events in February is available now at www.diyconvention.com or by calling 323-665-8080 with a credit card. Those registering before December 1will receive a free month of the DIYReporter.com , which includes transcripts from past DIY events, features, news and reviews of DIY film, music and books and free admission to select CLUB DIY events in Los Angeles and other cities until June.
2004 DIY Convention passes also include free admission to the DIY Music Festival finals at the Derby and the DIY Film Festival finals at Barnsdall; the gala DIY opening night party; plus the full day of panels, workshops and exhibits on February 7.
