LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo have canceled the remainder of their outstanding dates for the rest of the summer while Giraldo recovers from emergency eye surgery.
"It has been a crazy week ……Spyder’s eye injury was unexpected and terrifying. Thanking God and the Universe that he was able to have surgery immediately and save his eye. He is healing nicely and expected to make a full recovery! Unfortunately, not soon enough for us to continue the tour," Benatar wrote in a post on their Facebook page.
The duo had previously been planning to resume their tour in time for their Aug. 19 gig at the Paramount in Denver, with the tour set to wrap up on Sept. 6th at the Alaska State Fair in Palmer, Alaska.
The pair had previously postponed a series of dates due to health issues late last year when Giraldo developed a serious infection. – Staff Writers
