LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — After Australian rock band AC/DC announced that Guns N'Roses' frontman Axl Rose would replace the band's longtime lead singer Brian Johnson, not everyone was thrilled with the choice and now, at least one UK venue has agreed to offer fans refunds.
According to music website Teamrock, UK ticketing vendor Seetickets sent ticketholders and email about the band's June 4 show at the Olympic Stadium in London, offering them an opportunity to request a refund.
As well, visitors to Change.org, where a petition requesting a refund had been launched, are now reporting that other ticketing services are also offering refunds, including Gig & Tours, and Ticketmaster.
When Johnson was forced to quit the band due to medical issues, they still had 22 dates left on their Rock or Bust world tour. Twelve of those are in Europe and 10 more shows will be rescheduled in the United States. – Staff Writers
