LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — According to Ireland's RTE, Michael Flatley, the Lord of The Dance has been hospitalized with a serious illness.
Details of the illness have not been made public, but it appears he has been admitted to a private London hospital for care. Flatley had been in rehearsal for a scheduled Celtic Tiger Tour which was to launch soon, however all of the dates for that tour have now been cancelled.
A spokesman for Flatley told RTE that he was unavailable for comment and urged the media and public to respect his privacy.
According to Contactmusic.com, Flatley had been diagnosed with a facial skin cancer which he noticed after a television interview, however it was reported that it had been removed. This illness is not thought to be related to that problem – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
