Bridgeport, CT (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Organizers for the 18th annual Gathering of the Vibes announced the initial lineup for the popular north-eastern festival.
Returning to Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT for the 7th year in a row, the four-day camping festival features a lineup that includes headliners: Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh & Friends featuring: John Scofield, John Medeski, Joe Russo and John Kadlecik; Southern Rock icons The Black Crowes; Grammy winners Tedeschi Trucks Band, featuring Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks; Grammy Award winners and the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Roots; Grace Potter & The Nocturnals; Australia’s John Butler Trio – back by popular demand; and late night DJ sets by James Murphy (DFA/LCD Soundsystem) and Rob Garza (Thievery Corporation).
Other artists on the lineup of more than 40 bands, include: New Orleans funk legends the funky METERS; S, Americana new-grass rockers, Railroad Earth; jazz legend John Scofield; punk/ska icons FISHBONE; son of Willie Nelson – Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real; and singer-songwriter the Ryan Montbleau Band.

GOTV will also continue their history of fostering a family-friendly environment, with special camp areas designated for families, as well as a surfeit of activities in the festival's 'kids corner' such as painting on a community mural, listening to children’s entertainers, face painting, costume making, arts and crafts, and dancing with puppets.
