(CelebrityAccess News Service) — George Michael is back at the record label he left eight years ago.
Michael unsuccessfully sued the label in 1993 in a high profile court battle, accusing the label of ignoring his move from sex symbol to serious artist. EMI bought out his contract in 1995.
"We are delighted to be working again with one of the greatest recording artists this country has ever produced, who has produced another classic album,” Rob Stringer, Sony Music UK's chairman and CEO said. ”In a career spanning more than 20 years, George has been responsible for nearly 75 million record sales."
