IBIZA (CelebrityAccess Staff Writers) — Ibiza, long known in Europe as a summer getaway for Europe's club set has been expanding it's horizons. Starting this year, Manumission, a landmark club in Ibiza has been holding rock/punk nights, featuring such bands as Kasabian, Dirty Pretty Things, The Street and The Editors and it's been drawing crowds.
Held at Bar M, Manumission's bar on the beach, the events also feature rockaoke, which has been described as One live band, a selection of your favorite rock/punk anthems and the courage to get up on stage in front of a receptive audience.
A deal to package the performances for television is also in the works. With some help from Sony Ericsson, Bar M will package 4 half-hour programs to be broadcast on Channel 4 and culminate in a one hour special. – CelebrityAccess staff writers.
