NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The deadline for submissions to the 2010 International Songwriting Competition has been extended to December 3rd.
The competition this year is set to award more than $150,000 in prizes, including $25,000 cash with a panel of judges that includes Tom Waits, Kings Of Leon, Jeff Beck, Peter Gabriel, Joe Nichols, Wynonna, Ben Harper, Ben Folds, Black Francis (Pixies) and presidents from major and independent record labels.
Founded in 2002, the competition includes categories for Pop/Top 40, AAA (Adult Album Alternative), AC (Adult Contemporary), Rock Music, Country Music, Americana (music), R&B/Hip-Hop, Blues, Folk/Singer-Songwriter, Jazz, Gospel/Christian, Latin Music, Instrumental, Dance/Electronica, World Music, Children's Music, Lyrics Only, Teen, Comedy/Novelty, Performance, and Music Video.
