TENNESEE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Kenny Chesney the reigning Academy of Country Music Entertainer and CMA Entertainer of the year of the year is hitting the road in April for his anticipated spring/summer tour.
Chesney has received a 2009 Grammy nomination for Best Collaborations with Vocals for Shiftwork. He has also recently worked with other artists such as Rascall Flatts, Tim McGraw, and Dave Matthews.
Kenny’s most recent CD 'Lucky Old Sun’ dropped in October and peaked at number one for both internet album sales and top country albums.
Chesney announced in December of 2008 that would perform at Gillette Stadium once again in 2009, marking the fifth year in a row that Chesney will have played at the Foxboro, Massachusetts football stadium. Chesney's 2009 Sun City Carnival Tour will hit various venues both small and large and the performer has promised to continue to work to keep his ticket prices down.
