LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Rock legends, KISS will continue their 37-year career with a North American tour coined “The Hottest Show On Earth,” beginning July 23 according to a Live Nation press release.
Produced by Live Nation, the tour will hit arenas and amphitheatres throughout North America with tickets available June 4.
While in the past, now famed bands such as AC/DC, Bon Jovi and Iron Maiden have opened for KISS, this year’s tour will welcome an unsigned band to open for “Detroit Rock City” hit-makers. Partnered with Guitar Center, this contest will allow unsigned bands the opportunity to compete to open for KISS at 22 of their shows. Additionally, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley will choose one grand-prize winner to receive a $10,000 Guitar Center shopping spree among other prizes according to the Live Nation press release.
