STAMFORD, CT (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Veteran concert promoter Jim Koplik, with 35 years of concerts and events behind him, was honored March 8 by the state House of Representatives in Connecticut when he was honored with the first Connecticut's Finest award of the legislative session.
The award was initiated in 2005 by House Speaker James Amann to recognize Connecticut residents who excel in their fields and are role models.
Amann noted that Koplik was honored for more than promoting concerts, as he sits on the boards of the Connecticut Special Olympics, the National Kidney Foundation of Connecticut, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Connecticut and the Jewish Community Center of Stamford.
