NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Violator Management's Chris Lighty, who's client list includes 50 Cent and Diddy, has denied recent reports that he's managing the career of nascent singer Ashley Dupree.
Dupree, a former escort who was implicated along with former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer in a prostitution scandal, had announced that she plans to try her hand in the music world and the blogosphere has been abuzz recently with rumors that she was being managed by Lighty. According to a statement released by Lighty, it isn't so.
According to the statement, Lighty had been considering representing Dupree before she became embroiled in the public scandal that brought her to public awareness.
