LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation has announced the promotion of Kate Ramos to the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Touring Alliances. In her new role, Ramos will work as a liaison between the company’s Touring and Alliances divisions to create successful sponsorship opportunities for artists and Live Nation’s corporate clients.
Ramos will be based in the company’s Los Angeles headquarters, and will report to Live Nation Alliances President Russell Wallach and to President of North American Concerts Jason Garner.
Ramos began her career in Australia as a Spanish language interpreter for touring bands from Mexico, Central and South America, eventually moving to Spain to pursue a career in live music. Ultimately she relocated to the United States to begin a career in concert promotion, working at SFX and Clear Channel Entertainment, rising to the position of Senior Vice President of Latin Touring at Live Nation.
