LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation deals have been flying fast and furious and the latest is a joint venture with online coupon website Groupon to develop a new channel for event ticket deals.
Dubbed GrouponLive, the service will act as a local resource for Live Nation and their clients to offer tickets and promotional offers through the Groupon service. According to Live Nation, GrouponLive.com users will have access to limited-time deals on a variety of live entertainment events with updates for new events regularly posted on the site with an option for users to be notified for new events.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Live Nation said that they anticipate the service to be launched in time for the summer concert season. Groupon specializes in offering discounted group coupons to local goods and services.
