LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After a four-year hiatus, No Doubt is planning to hit the road for a tour next year and preparing to work on their first studio album since 2001's Rock Steady.
"I don't think we should wait. Pack up the babies and get a bunch of nannies. So fun! Would be so inspiring to get out there and play all those songs again," singer Gwen Stefani wrote in a band chat on No Doubt's Web site.
"We need to play. It's been too long," wrote bassist Tony Kanal. "I feel like it's time for some rock and roll."
During their hiatus, Stefani, has seen success releasing two solo albums and in tandem has become a mother to sons Kingston and Zuma.
As of yet, No cities or dates have been announced, however, sources say the tour will likely kick off in summer 2009. – by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
