LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Sir Paul McCartney has announced that he's planning a "huge" world tour for Autumn of 2008.
According to the Daily Mirror, the former Beatle told his friends that a tour would help the singer get through the emotional tribulations in the wake of his very public divorce from Heather Mills. The tour would also help to defray the $48 million dollar divorce settlement that was recently ordered by a London court.
While no dates for the have been finalized, Macca is reportedly looking to arrange for legs through the US, Canada, the UK and Australia.
A source close to the singer tells British newspaper The Mirror, "Paul's made happy by his family and his music. He sees this as a kind of celebration that the messy episode with Heather is over. Dates for the autumn are likely to be finalised next month and fans can expect to see an amazing show." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
