DENVER (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Veteran promoter Peter Ore, formerly the VP of Booking for Live Nation Denver, has joined forces with Mike Barsch's Colorado-based independent concert promotion company Soda Jerk Presents.
"Working with Peter is going to be a huge step as we continue to grow the company," said Mike Barsch. "He and I were fierce competitors for many years. Now we’re on the same team and we intend to take Soda Jerk to the next level."

Before signing on with Live Nation in 2006, Ore helped to helm Nobody In Particular Presents from 1995-2006, an independent concert company that had a strong foothold in Denver for many years. Over the years he has promoted thousands of shows in a various clubs, theatres, PACs, arenas, amphitheatres and festivals and has worked with a diverse range of talent from Social Distortion, Rise Against and Green Day to Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Roger Waters and Bruce Springsteen.
Barusch initially launched Soda Jerk as a record label and had been promoting shows in the Colorado market since 1997 but in 2000, he dissolved the partnership and transitioned Soda Jerk into a promotion company. Since then, Soda Jerk has been a player in the Colorado market, including booking long residencies at venues such as Tulagi's in Boulder and Rock Island in Denver.
Soda Jerk The Black Sheep in October of 2005; The Marquis Theater in February 2006 and most recently, the Summit Music Hall, opened in July 2010. Since opening, the Summit has seen gigs by bands such as Good Charlotte, Anthrax and the Dirty Heads as well as regional developing acts. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
