Sean Combs Arrested After Violent Confrontation

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Sean 'Diddy' Combs was arrested after a violent confrontation at a UCLA athletic complex and in which he reportedly used a kettlebell as a weapon.

According to TMZ, the confrontation occurred at the Acosta Athletic Training Complex on campus between Combs and Sal Alosi, a coach for Combs' son Justin, who is a defensive back for the Bruins’ college football team. Combs allegedly confronted Alosi after the coach rode Justin too harshly during practice, TMZ said.

"Our UCLA sources tell us Diddy confronted Strength and Conditioning Coach Sal Alosi while Alosi was on the phone. We’re told Diddy was told to “hang on” but he wasn’t having it and picked up a kettlebell and swung it, narrowly missing Alosi. One source said if Diddy had connected, it could have killed Alosi," TMZ said.

Combs was arrested and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery and has since been released on bail the Associated Press reported.

Since he was released, Comb's reps have denied the substance of TMZ's version of the story and released a statement.

“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate. What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son. We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed,” the statement said. – Staff Writers
