NEW ENGLAND (Hypebot) – The Kings of Leon were surprised to read a casting call for their new music video that sought out people with "scars, pockmarked skin, physical abnormalities, or deformities" to star in the music video for the band's new single "Pyro."
For the prize of $300, fans that were "unattractive", "rough around the edges", and/or "a little slow" could join in a two-day shoot in a bar in New England. In an interview with The Sun, guitarist Matthew Followill commented, "We were really embarrassed about it but we had nothing to do with it." It's quite understandable why the group is angry.
