The banter between Kimmel and Swift revealed that Clean is Taylor’s favorite song on her new ‘1989’ album. Clean, she assured Jimmy, had nothing to do with personal hygiene. She also explained that one of her lyric instagrams, revealing music quotes from her upcoming songs, is about the budding romance between her good friend Lena Dunham and Swifts collaborator, fun.’s drummer, Jack Antonoff.
The outdoor concert was a story in itself and the main news of Swift’s appearance on Kimmel. The artist belted out two of her first songs released from ‘1989’ Shake it off followed by Out of the Woods. According to Kimmel there were 15,000 fans in attendance to enjoy the live show of country star turned pop princess. The concert shut down Hollywood Boulevard and there were likely just as many inconvenienced and disgruntled Californians with the rerouting of LA’s notorious traffic.
